Nissan Promises Vast Newness in Next 24 Months

You might previously have read about Nissan's aggressive two-year plan for sprucing up their lineup with 20 new products. Following key industry events, such as the North American International Auto Show, Bel Air Nissan, serving Bel Air, MD is here give you a little more insight into what you can expect.

Perhaps most exciting for Nissan enthusiasts in Bel Air is the promise of a redesigned Nissan Altima, which the Japanese automaker promises will offer a fresh look, new hybrid variant and suite of standard features designed to please consumers and force competitors to look at their blind spots. Truck drivers will be treated to a next-gen Nissan Titan.

It's important to note that while Nissan will be adding an all-new Altima Hybrid to its inventory, the Japanese automaker doesn't plan to create a hybrid variant of every model they make. The fact of the matter is not every segment benefits from having an electric motor and li-ion battery thrown into the mix. Larger, D-segment vehicles are the best candidates and will reap the most in terms of improved fuel economy and lower emission levels. For B-segment and C-segment cars, pure battery-electric power is more viable. Nissan contends sports cars can benefit from hybrid technology as well; but, that's in terms of enhanced power, not necessarily a lighter footprint.

Moving on to the commercial arena, we can see that Nissan has some exciting things in store for businesses, too. The most ground-breaking is an electric variant of the NV 200. Additionally, Nissan will offering an alternative to their NV vans: commercial pickup trucks.

As different as all of the products might be, you'll see they serve two common purposes: A) to provide drivers with newness B) to fortify Nissan's image as a boundary-breaking automaker committed to filling drivers with excitement and enthusiasm. And, what you've read about here isn't even the half of it. Be sure to stay tuned to see exactly what other new products Nissan is planning to introduce 2012-2014. In the meantime, feel free to check out the complete new Nissan inventory online or at 1510 Bel Air Rd. Bel Air, MD 21014.
